3. Cooperation and Cookies of External Partners
We work together with external partners (3rd-Party-Provider) which not always deliver their advertising content via our Ad Server (an ad delivery system). Nevertheless, those partners set-up cookies and display interest-based advertising content. It might occur that based on collected pseudonymized usage data (on United Internet portals) interest-based 3rd-Party-offers are being displayed.

4. Disable interest-based advertising and reset the Advertising ID on mobile devices
- On Android devices, the “Disable interest-based advertising” option is disabled by default . If you would like to change this, open the Google Settings, tap on "Ads" and activate them. You can use this OPT-OUT option to prevent your device from displaying interest-related advertising based on the Advertising ID on your device. Additionally, you might wish to reset your Advertising ID within the Google Settings > Ads: click on “Reset Advertising ID” and all the information collected so far will be reset and the Advertising ID on your device will be replaced by a randomly selected number. *
- On iOS devices, the "Limit Ad Tracking" option is disabled by default. If you would like to change this, open the settings and tap the "Privacy" option. Scroll down to the bottom and tap on "Advertising." Now you can restrict "Ad Tracking". This OPT-OUT option prevents you from viewing interest-based advertising based on the Advertising ID on your device. In addition, you have the option to reset the Ad-ID. Please do so by choosing Settings > Privacy > Advertising: Click on "Reset Ad-ID" and all information collected so far will be reset and the Advertising ID on your device will be replaced by a randomly selected number. *
- On Windows devices, the "Allow apps to use my promotional ID for cross-application usage" option is selected by default. If you would like to change this, tap "All apps" on the Home screen of your Windows Phone. Scroll down the list to the "Settings" item. Open the settings, tap "Privacy" and "Advertising ID" in the next menu. This way you can deactivate the promotional ID. This OPT-OUT option prevents you from viewing interest-based advertising based on the Advertising ID on your device. In addition, you have the opportunity to reset the Advertising ID. Do so by choosing Settings > Privacy > Promotional ID: Click on "Reset Promotional ID" and all the information collected so far will be reset and the Advertising ID on your device will be replaced by a randomly selected number. *
